for a while in central america and i had some friends who worked for drug interdiction for the united states government. i asked them sit true that about 2.7 sents out of ever dollar on drug interdiction does the job. they said yes that's right. if you're in the drug biz or thinking about going into the drug business, think about this for a minute. >> well if i go into the drug business, i have a 97% chance of success. if you compare that to the chance of failure if you do a legitimate start up anywhere in the world. what you have to asay to yourself is if you have a 97% chance of going into the drug business then why not, let's go do it. 97% of all the money we spend on drug interdiction is going down the rat hole. if we made it legal, we would as you pointed out the drug cartels we would put a serious dent in them and they might i go away. we would be able to tax it. if you look at the states that have medical marijuana in this country it is now understood that the marijuana legalization is helping lift those committees out of their own recessions. >> is it time to end the prohibition? >>

are putting a lot of effort to make great products, but also to make sure that everybody in america knows how committed they are to making cars here in america. so you don't scare hard work and americans just to scare up some votes. that's not what being president is all about. that's not leadership. when i first made the decision to rescue the auto industry, i knew it wasn't popular. and despite the fact that one out of eight jobs in ohio are connected to the auto industry in some way, it wasn't even popular here in ohio. but i knew it was the right thing to do. i knew betting on american workers was the right thing to do. i knew betting on america was the right thing to do. that paid off. it paid off where gm is investing hundreds of millions of dollars in their auto plant. it paid off in toledo where chrysler is adding more than 1,000 new jobs on a second shift. not in china, but right here in ohio. right here in the united states of america. and so one of the things, when you're talking to your friends and neighbors, they're trying to make up their minds the last few days. think about tha

that we're headed in the wrong direction. so these jobs numbers were good news for america, they were good news for the obama campaign but bad news for the romney campaign. they take whatever win he had in this bailout. >> krystal, when we look at the polls, the president is up in the swing states, up by 5 in wisconsin, more than 4 in pennsylvania, over 2 in ohio, 2 in iowa, and new hampshire and a slight edge in colorado. governor romney is ahead by a little over a point in florida and just barely beating obama in virginia. so if these polls prove right, the president edges out in the swing states and is re-elected? >> exactly. and i would look at iowa and wisconsin. romney has to win one of those states. if he wins ohio, then he has a shot. if he can't get ohio, he still has a plausible path if he can get wisconsin. what has to be really troubling to the romney campaign is we're seeing more and more polling in those states and they are not moving in his direction and the president's turnout particularly in ohio has been very strong, very robust. so i think those two states in particular

and for the commitment to america. thank you, steve, and thank you for your help. now, i have heard you chanting out here four more days, and you are right. there's not much time left before people make the decisions as to which way the country something to head. i think a lot of people made their mind up a long time ago who they were going to support. there are some folks who are getting ready to put aside the demands of daily living and ask themselves what's best for them and what's best for their family and what's best for america. as they go through that process, what i hope they'll do is put aside all the speeches and ads and put aside the attacks and really focus on the record. as you know, talk is cheap. a record of accomplishment and achievement, that is something that happens with effort. that is something you can't fake, so i'd like the people across the country to give this election some real consideration to decide who can actually get america strong again. i know i know how to do. that's why i believe on november 6th, you'll give me the nod, and i'll become the next president. talk is remark
